Photographs are powerful images that can never be recaptured. I use a camera to bring those moments to life with the full play of light and emotion, expressiveness and spontaneity. That interplay fires my imagination every time I take a shot.

I’ve spent my career telling stories with pictures on-camera as a television news reporter and behind the camera as a photojournalist. Capturing that one defining moment has been a hallmark of my work for over twenty years, winning me an Emmy and numerous awards from the Associated Press and New York State Broadcasters. My reports have aired on CNN and the CBS Early Show

The way I work is to let the story unfold, never forcing a shot, but instead letting the scene play out naturally. I work unobtrusively, always looking for those unselfconscious moments… like a gentle touch or look… that say so much more than a staged shot ever could.

My photographs have appeared in several publications, including the front page of the Boston Globe Travel Section, the New York Daily News, Boston College Law School Magazine, and Berkshires Week, with editorial work in Vietnam and Africa.
